A CONNECTION, EVEN FROM FAR AWAY

Know how things look.
Feel a little closer.

Each visit brings a fresh, caring presence to the gravesite. We look at the headstone, vase, and surroundings, tidy natural debris where needed, and photograph what we see.

If we notice damage, tilting, sunken ground, fallen items, or another visible concern, we document it and let you know so you can decide on the next steps.

Whether you live far away, have a full schedule, or are unable to visit, it’s a meaningful way to honor someone you love.

THE FAMILY BEHIND THE NAME

It began with
a love of these places.

Cemeteries have always been part of our travels—even on our honeymoon in Greece nine years ago. We find peace in them, beauty in the stones, and a connection to the people who came before us.

Today, we share that curiosity with our two daughters. We explore history together, look for the stories behind the names, and teach them that every cemetery is a place deserving kindness and respect.

Gravely Devoted grows from that same connection. Caring for a memorial means remembering that it belongs to someone’s family, someone’s history, and someone’s heart.

BUILDING A THOUGHTFUL FOUNDATION

Care starts
before the cleaning.

Memorial visits with optional flowers or memorial items, along with documentation services, are available to request now. Gravestone cleaning with D/2 is a future service while we continue learning and gaining experience.

01 / LEARN

Learn the right approach

We’re working through the NCPTT cemetery-preservation learning materials and building our understanding before offering paid cleaning.

02 / PREPARE

Choose equipment carefully

We’re gathering appropriate supplies and sourcing our cleaner through a specialist retailer, with care for the stone at the center of our choices.

03 / PRACTICE

Practice with permission

We’re arranging practice on headstones for which permission has been given, developing experience one memorial at a time.

Looking ahead: D/2 gravestone cleaning is not offered or priced yet. We’re continuing our education and practice before adding cleaning services.

WHY WE DO THIS

“Because every name
belongs to a story.”

History isn’t only in books. It lives in our communities, in the places we visit, and in the memories we choose to care for.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

A careful start.
An honest conversation.

Yes. You can request a gravesite visit with optional flowers or a memorial item, grave location and documentation, or family plot documentation. We’ll confirm the details and availability with you before scheduling.
